Do you ever have leftover fresh herbs you hate to see go to waste?
Freezing them is a great solution.
Step 1: rinse them and lay them out to dry on paper towel.
Step 2: remove any hard stems, pat dry and chop.
Step 3: put the herbs in a ziplock bag, sealing tightly to remove any extra air.
Step 4: place that bag into another, sealing tightly to remove any extra air.
Step 5: pop into the freezer and remove as needed for soups, sautees, roasted vegetables, sauces and herby pastas.
