Edible Flowers

You should always find time to stop and smell a rose, but did you know you can enjoy eating some flowers as well?

Flowers have been used in cooking throughout the years, from chrysanthemum tea to cake decorations to herbal ice cubes, in soups and more.

I love to mince chives into vegan butter, steep mint in hot water, and top salads with nasturtium.

You can even use them to decorate a beautiful focaccia for a gorgeous touch a brunch or dinner you are hosting for friends or family.

In addition to those listed above, other edible flowers include:

Violet

Lavender

Marigold

Pansy

Rose

Borage

Lovage

Spring is here… time to get creative and start decorating!
